The top 7 things I’ve learned in 7 years as an entrepreneur

During a recent Real Connections, I posed a question for breakout room discussion that I’ve been pondering myself lately.

If you could go back in time and talk to yourself on the day you started your business, what would you tell her/him/them?

My 7-year business anniversary is coming up this weekend and I’ve been celebrating all week and doing a lot of reflection on this journey so far.

My short answer that I shared with the group today is this:

🌴 It’s going to be harder than you think it’s going to be…but not in the ways you expect.

🌴 It’s also going to be easier than you think…but not in the ways you expect.

🌴 Overall, even though you are SO freaking excited about this new chapter and have really high expectations…it’s also going to be even better than you can imagine right now, professionally and personally.

My long answer? I’m so glad you asked!

In this Think Differently replay, you’ll get a look behind the scenes and some of the pivotal moments and biggest lessons from my own journey.

There’s so much here to learn from and I know you’ll see yourself in at least a few places as I share my experience.

I challenged myself to keep it to 7 lessons - I mean it has to be 7, right?!

Because I’ve learned more in 7 years running this business (and all of its iterations), than I did in all 18 of my previous career.

Check out the replay below!
