When creating content feels hard
I don’t know a single entrepreneur who hasn’t had a love/hate relationship with creating content for their business.
There are days where the ideas are a-flowin’ and it’s like everything you write or speak is one of the most brilliant things you’ve ever said.
And then there are entire weeks and even months where you just can’t seem to bring yourself to write a single piece of content, or record a single video…and when you do, it’s like your own personal Everest summit that takes a LOT of effort and discipline on your part.
And what I’ve seen over 7+ years in my own business and behind the scenes with my clients is that whatever works for you in one season – time blocking, working on things in a certain order, having a structure to your themes – doesn’t always translate into the next season.
Because truly as your business grows and changes over time so does your thought leadership and your work style and you just have to change it up sometimes.
This comes up almost every single week on client calls, and I’m constantly getting creative and helping clients to find ways to make this work better and easier for them.
There’s definitely no formula here (if you know me, you know that is NOT how I approach working with my clients), but you also do not need to recreate the wheel and come up with something entirely new all by yourself.
So this week, I’m going to share some of the things that have made the biggest difference over the years in both my business and my clients’ businesses when it comes to making content creation feel easier.
