How to actually get an ROI on your next hire or business investment
The number of people who told me this year that they didn’t get an ROI on their last coaching investment is overwhelming.
In fact, I’ve lost count. 😳
Yes, the coaching industry is saturated. Yes, every industry has good eggs and less-good eggs. Sometimes you can do everything right and end up with a bad egg and that’s not your fault.
But you do have control over a lot more than you think.
And this goes WAY past hiring a coach.
Getting an ROI on any hire or investment you make is essential to your success in business, AND to your sanity.
This is true whether you’re joining a membership, hiring a VA, rebranding, or scaling up a team of employees.
But if you want to get support from the right people, it’ll take intentionality, strategic thinking and discernment on your part to not only assess what you need but who is the best fit for you and your business.
One of the most important skills you can learn and hone as a business owner is to make good hiring decisions and good investments in your business.
I chose the words “learn and hone” intentionally.
Lemme just say that again…this is a skill that you can learn and improve!
And, the more you work on it over time and hone your skills, the better investments you’ll make and the bigger the ROI from those decisions will be.
I don’t know a single person who hasn’t made a hiring mistake.
Or spent money that didn’t create ANY ROI.
Or brought on a really nice person who just didn’t know how to actually support you.
I’m sorry to tell you that’s actually part of the process.
But it’s what you do with it that really matters, and that’s what I want to talk about.
Catch the replay for Think Differently, where I’ll be talking about how to move on from licking your wounds into making an empowered, informed, strategic decision for your next investment.
